Borderlands Headache's

Picked up Borderlands yesterday for the Ps3. Borderlands is the new game from Gearbox Software, its a cross between a shooter and RPG. Think fallout 3 or Call of Duty 4 meets WOW. I had heard there was a few glitches in the game that are a little bit annoying. But I didn't worry to much as I couldn't wait to play this game. More specifically I wanted to play this game co-op with a few friends. This is where my headache started in on a long night of frustration. Was playing it single player was a lowly level 6 and my buddy came online, wanted to do some gaming. So he sent me an invite to his game. got nothing on my end. So I tried to send him an invite, but when I brought up the friends list there was nothing there.

Prototype Review - Bitesize

HOLY SH!T, Is what you are thinking when starting out playing Prototype. From the get go you are the ultimate killing machine. Ripping people apart, consuming them into your body, hi-jacking helicoters. Its a completly freeing experience, for roughly two hours. Then the game starts to dwindle once the story kicks in and the incredibly hard difficulty spikes happen. The story of Prototype seems like it would be interesting from what I have gathered if were told in a different fashion. Most the time you get glimpses of random story elements by consuming key characters in the game. While this seems like it would work, by not taking the player to much out of the game, it keeps you kind of clueless about what is going on and why you even need to care about the story at all.

City of Heroes Anniversary

City of Heroes was one of my very first MMORPG I played. Guild Wars of being the first. But City of heroes was special cause I got to be a F'n Super Hero. I was a Ninja Assassin that could Blink/ teleport to travel. Simply a blast to play. But to me it got a little over repetitive after a while.

But its been along time since I last stepped into my super hero suit. And there have been many improvements over the last years. So with the 5 year Anniversary coming up and all the events. I think its time to suit back up and take a stroll down Superhero Avenue. Check it out yourself over at City of Heroes website.

Fallout is Heading to Vegas

Bethesda announced in London today Fallout New Vegas. This will be a new Fallout game that will be developed by Obsidian Entertainment the developers who brought you KOTOR 2 and Neverwinter Nights. While the Bethesda team isnt specifically working on this project they are keeping close and adding say to what needs to be done I am sure. Other then that the game is slated for next year on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. Further news will be reported when it comes in.

Xbox Out for the Kill

Today Xbox announced its new Xbox 360 Bundle that includes Halo 3 and Fable 2. Both in there own respect phenomenal games. What does this say? I think its Microsoft trying to put the finishing blows on Sony. By bundling in 2 great games and an elite system for only $399 is a win in my column. But we will have to wait and see next months or the months after that NPD's. If you don't already have an Xbox 360 and are looking to buy one I admit this is one hell of a deal.

New Assassin Creed Character

Now I'm sure you have seen this already. Specifically if your a fan of the first game. Quite frankly I liked the concept and some of the story of the first game. But it got old fast and lack game play depth in my opinion. This is not why I brought this up. I wanted to rant on how the new character is Elvis. Take a gander at the assassin in the picture. He's suppose to be inconspicuous and he looks like a fucking king with shiny gadgets and perfectly clean look. Oh and not to mention the two popped collars *Bling Bling*. Certainly this might be for a reason, as in the first game the main character "Altair" was a douche bag and only cared about himself. So possibly this is just taking it to the next step. Or perhaps the art department was like "YEAH lets give him belts and buttons"...."Gotta have popped collars all the cool kids are doing it these days" "YEAH".

New Zune! Possible Gaming Device?

While I have no information to support this, I can see the possibilities. Over at Engadget they are reporting that this is the new Zune HD though there still is no official word, but according to there sources its pretty much legit. I'm sure conformation will be made soon as when images get leaked it is usually denied or official within a short period of time.

Now my thinking is of course this is a contender to the Ipod touch. But what if this is the first Microsoft hand-held to enter the market. It would make sense seeing as the Ipod Touch
